Lyon looking to keep up the pace

Paulo Fonseca's Lyon have won their first two Europa League games (2-1 at Anderlecht, 3-2 against Crystal Palace). In Ligue 1, they thrashed Rennes 4-0 before losing 2-1 at Lens.

Hoffenheim have yet to pick up a point in the Europa League (a 2-0 defeat at OFI Crete, then 2-3 against Beşiktaş), but they have just won at Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga. The last three meetings between the two clubs all ended in draws.

Lyon are without Ouédraogo, Openda and Tagliafico. Hoffenheim are missing Hajdari and Wimmer.

Our view

Hoffenheim need points in front of their own fans, but Lyon are more confident on the European stage. To limit the risk, we go for Lyon or draw.
